We can accept designs in most file formats,
digitize geometry from sample parts up to
48" X 96", or proceed from a fax,
phone-print, or a sketch on a napkin. Send
a sample part, fax a drawing or email, for a
prompt quotation. Be sure to tell us the
material, the quantities you would like
pricing on, and how fast you need the parts.
Preparing a file:
SOLIDS FILES:
We use Solidworks 2007, we can import
most file types. If you are sending an
assembly, please include all necessary part
files.
DXF files:
The DXF file of the part geometry should
be actual size ( 1:1 ), with no dimensions,
no title block, no notes. You can attach a
drawing file in DWG or PDF format for
material, thickness, tolerancing and notes.
GRAPHIC ARTS files:
EPS, AI, and COREL files work best.
Convert all text to curves, so we eliminate
font matching problems.
Be sure that there is a black outline (
Hairline or .003" ) on lettering and
features, and turn off the fills.
If you send us a bitmap, like a JPG, WMF,
GIF, or BMP, we will have to draw an outline
on top of the bitmap that we can process
into machine code.

can FAX a sketch. Be sure to include
dimensions in both horizontal and vertical
directions on your sketch.
